THE INNER STIPEND

Recognizing that many of us share the common mission to empower mental health, we're committed to practicing what we preach.

Hence, we are thrilled to introduce The Inner Stipend - an annual contribution to all organizations in the Inner communty to attend to the inner health of its founders and CEOs.

What does The Inner Stipend constitute?

  • The Inner Stipend constitutes an annual amount of $700 per founder/CEO

  • A maximum of two founders or CEOs are eligible to apply. The founder has to be operational within the organisation to be able to claim The Inner Stipend.

  • ONE application should be submitted per organisation.

    After you’ve submitted your application you will be notified as soon as the contribution has been transferred to your account. A Note of Contribution will be sent to one of the organisation’s signatories through DocuSign, this note needs to be signed as a receipt of the transfer.

  • As we launch The Inner Stipend now in 2024, the last day of application will be on April 30th and the last day of payout is May 15th.

    For the upcoming year, the application will be opening on January 1st and the last day to apply will be on February 1st. The money will be paid within 30 days.

    The organisation needs to reapply for The Inner Stipend every year.

  • The Inner Stipend is intended as a contribution to portfolio organisations to take care of the inner health of its founders and CEOs. May it be through counselling, therapy, meditation or mindfulness services - how each portfolio organisation chooses to spend the stipend is entirely up to your liking.

  • Each organisation that is granted The Inner Stipend is solely responsible for any taxes, charges, fees or similar, as well as for any reporting and/or compliance obligations due to the reception of and/or utilisation of The Inner Stipend.

    The Inner Stipend will be provided by The Inner Foundation by way of an equity contribution to the eligible organisation. We recommend each organisation to carefully assess and review any consequences prior to applying for the stipend.

    The Inner Foundation or The Inner Foundation Invest AB will not take any responsibility for taxes, charges, fees or similar imposed to a organisation or to its founders or employees as a result of The Inner Stipend.

  • We do not expect you to report back to us regarding how the organisation has chosen to allocate the Stipend.

    However, we will at the end of the year send out a mandatory survey for each organisation to fill out. This survey will give us insights into whether or not the organisation has spent The Inner Stipend and how the experience has been.

    If the organisation does not fill out the survey prior to the last application date for the upcoming year’s Inner Stipend, the organisation will not be applicable to renew the Stipend until they have filled out this survey.

*We intend for The Inner Stipend to be an ongoing contribution to the organisations within the Inner community. This commitment will be evaluated yearly to ensure that it brings its intended inner value.
